The D40X is a lightweight and portable camera that proves that it can be both incredibly simple and tremendous fun to shoot images with a Nikon digital SLR. You only need to turn on the camera’s AUTO mode, look through the clear, bright viewfinder and shoot. The D40X Double Zoom Kit Plus includes two new Nikkor zoom lenses that allow you to cover any situation.
The AF-S DX 18-55mm II wideangle lens is perfect for interior shots, group shots and breathtaking landscapes. The AF-S DX 55-200mm telephoto lens enables you to get close to distant subjects and is ideal for portraiture and sports.

Up to now, all of our SLR cameras have been supplied as body only. In response to customer demand, we have added the D40x along with its smaller brother. the D40 complete with two lenses that should cover any situation - an 18-55mm and 55-200mm.
