What do we think?

The successor to the D70s, the D80 is more than just the latest model, really being able to justify it status as a whole new model.

This camera just feels right the moment you pick it up and once you start delving into what it has to offer, it just gets better.

The viewfinder is excellent, indeed very similar in performance to the D200.  Image quality is as good as you would expect and not soft at all (some people have commented that past low level Nikons have been guilty of this in the past).

At very high ISO levels, we do not think it is quite as good as the Canon 400D but that is the only complaint we can come up with and otherwise it is an exceptional camera.
