Methods of Payment

Normal payment is by credit or debit card. We accept the following cards -

Please note that there will be a 3% surcharge when using American Express - unfortunately we cannot take an American Express card for a deposit.

In certain circumstances, we can accept cheque or BACs payment in advance - please contact us for further details.


A deposit is usually required on all equipment. The amount of that deposit will vary according to firstly the value of the equipment.

We do not charge the full value of the equipment - details of how much the deposit will be can be found on the price list and will appear on our quotation system.

Normally the deposit will be taken approximately 3 days before the dispatch date for the equipment (or on the day of booking if the hire is under 3 days away). The deposit will then be refunded upon safe return of the goods. Please note that whilst we ensure that this is refunded promptly (it is typically done on the evening of the day of return or the morning after), dependant on your bank it can take up to 3 working days to appear on your statement.

In certain circumstances with corporate clients where guarantees are provided, we are able to waive this deposit - please contact us for further details.

Members of our loyalty scheme will be asked for either a reduced deposit amount ( Silver and Gold members will be asked for no deposit at all).

Please note that we have a minimum deposit charge of £150

When the credit card is charged

Unless previously advised, the hire fee will be taken once the booking is confirmed (i.e. booking and payment details have been taken, paperwork submitted and approved).

The deposit will be taken three days before dispatch of the equipment, unless otherwise advised.

The deposit will be refunded upon safe return of goods. Please note that sometimes it can take a couple of days from the point of refund for the monies to appear back in your account.


We charge VAT on both hire and courier charges. Throughout the website and on any quotations, you will have both Inc and Ex VAT prices listed. A full VAT invoice will be provided once the goods have been returned safely.

Having never hired before I was note sure what condition the cameras would be in but I was delighted with the presentation that it arrived in and the quality of equipment and the service from the very beginning it was faultless.
