VIDEO: The Zeiss Museum of Optics

Guy takes us on a guided tour of the Zeiss Museum of Optics in Germany. On display in this fascinating place are optics such as monocles from as early as the 13th Century, right up to microchip manufacturing machinery of today. Carl Zeiss was a scientific instrument maker, optician and businessman who founded the workshop of Carl Zeiss in 1846, it’s highly doubtful he could have ever envisioned what Zeiss has become today.
