This policy is made on behalf of Hireacamera pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the 'Act') and constitutes our company's slavery and human trafficking statement.

Hireacamera is one of the leading Photo & Video equipment hire companies in Europe offering an extensive range of digital cameras, lenses, video, lighting, and studio products for hire and have been providing equipment for over twenty years.

PURPOSE

Hireacamera recognises the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is crucially important in the development of tackling slavery and human trafficking: we will not trade or partner with any business or organisation which is involved in this shocking and illegal practice however remotely or indirectly.  Our statement sets down our commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and the steps we are actively putting in place with the aim of ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business and supply chains.  We all have a duty to be alert to risks, however small.  Colleagues are expected to report their concerns and management to act upon them.

SUPPLIERS

We expect our suppliers and contractors to demonstrate a zero-tolerance approach to exploitation. To this end, Hireacamera reserve the right to terminate any contract in the instance of any breach of this obligation.

TAKING ACTION

We expect our employees to fully observe and adhere to Hireacamera’s policies and procedures.  We will continuously review and promote our existing corporate policies to incorporate modern slavery and human trafficking issues, including our whistleblowing, code of conduct and corporate social responsibility policies.  We will continuously review and provide training to all employees on the awareness of modern slavery to assist them in their understanding, identification, and reporting of these risks.

REVIEW AND AUTHORISATION

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.  The Directors endorses this policy statement and are fully committed to its implementation.
