Hireacamera Click & Collect is Returning!

Over the last two weeks, we have witnessed an encouraging return to some kind of normality. Production companies are back shooting and a lot of our clients are wondering how to manage the workload they now need to process. We are here to support, as we have always been, even remaining open throughout lockdown supporting those still working and needing to have equipment delivered remotely. We are hugely proud of the efforts of our whole team, reacting quickly to ensure we stood by our customers. Clearly, times were difficult, even for those that could operate, and we did everything we could to support our customers by covering half of the courier cost during lockdown.
During this period, we also promised to take a proportion of the hire revenue to donate to two NHS charities. We are pleased to announce that we will be donating a total of £3,815.
Today we announce the first of our Click and Collect stores opening and we hope over the next couple of weeks to bring you more:
We want to reassure you that keeping our team, our partners and our clients safe is our top priority, so to this end, we are putting the following measures in place:
Delivery of equipment to click and collect points
As equipment arrives at a click and collect point, having travelled on an overnight service, it will be thoroughly cleaned and sterilised with antibacterial cleaning products.
Aiding social distancing
To avoid congestion in store, we would like to politely request that you do not open the equipment cases in the store, and that equipment is sealed, labelled and ready to be collected by the courier upon return.
We are requesting that you contact your click and collect point on your days of collection and drop off, to let staff know what time you plan arrive, so that all paperwork and/or equipment is ready in advance so that safety protocols can be properly adhered to.
Proof of identification
When collecting equipment, you will be required to provide photo ID, this will need to be a currently valid driving licence or passport. An image of this will be made for insurance and security purposes and then destroyed upon completion of the hire.
