HOW IT WORKS
To request a price match, please contact our team via email or phone prior to placing your order. You will need to provide a live link to the competitor’s quote or website showing the lower price.
OUR CRITERIA
For a price match to be approved, the following conditions must be met:
- - Identical Specifications: The equipment must be the exact same model and include the same accessories (e.g., batteries, chargers, cases).
- - Rental Duration: The rental period dates must be identical.
- - Availability: The item must be in stock and available for immediate booking on the competitor's website for those specific dates.
- - UK-Based Competitors: The competitor must be a legitimate UK-based camera rental company with a physical business address.
WHAT WE CANNOT MATCH
- - Prices from marketplaces (eBay, Facebook), peer-to-peer rental platforms (Fat Llama), or non-UK retailers.
- - Quotes involving "special" discounts (first-time customer codes, student discounts, or bulk-buy deals).
- - Prices that have been misquoted or are clearly typographical errors.
- - Retrospective claims (matches requested after the rental has already begun or ended).
NOTE ON PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Hireacamera invests heavily in sensor cleaning, firmware updates, and rigorous testing between every hire. We reserve the right to decline a price match if the competitor does not meet our equivalent standards of maintenance and support.
