What types of audio gear can I hire?

We offer microphones (lapel, shotgun, handheld, desk-mounted), field recorders, headphones, stands, booms, cables, and accessories — suitable for everything from film shoots to livestreams and podcasts.

Can I hire a full audio kit for a video shoot?

Yes. You can build a complete audio setup with your hire — including a recorder, shotgun or lapel mic, wireless system, and boom pole. Our team can help you choose a reliable, matched setup.

Do your microphones work with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras?

Many of our on-camera and lavalier microphones connect directly via 3.5mm or XLR, and we provide adaptors where needed. Just check the input options on your camera — or ask us for advice.

Can I record audio directly into my camera?

Yes, if your camera supports audio input. However, for best quality we recommend using an external field recorder and syncing in post. This allows multi-channel recording and backup.

Do I need to hire cables or batteries separately?

Most essential cables and power supplies are included — but always check the “What’s Included” section on each product page. Additional accessories like XLRs, windshields or power kits are available to hire separately.
