Choosing which road to tread will likely come down to what you're shooting and what options you require. Handheld cameras feature pre-attached zoom lenses tailored exclusively to video capture, whereas Canon's mirrorless range uses a detachable RF lens mount system. This means you can use any RF mount lenses, or the older EF mount lenses if using an adaptor.
