An L-series tilt-and-shift lens with perspective control
This lens allows you to control perspective and depth-of-field in studio shots thanks to calibrated movements, superb optical engineering and precision moulded glass for low distortion, exceptional definition and 1:2 macro ratio.
Change the plane of focus to direct more attention to the subject and adjust depth-of-field as you see it, with no need for computers.
Correct subject perspective
Precise movements allow a ± 10° tilt and a ±12mm shift with a rotation of the shift/tilt functions +/-90° in any direction for superb perspective control.
Adjust macro focus detail
A macro focus capability of 49cm means 1:2 life size images can be delicately focused with added control over perspective and depth-of-field.
Excellent optics and design
Aspherical and UD lens elements minimise chromatic aberration while Subwavelength Structure Coating minimises ghosting and flare.
Useful 135mm focal length
A 135mm focal length gives compressed perspective with the benefit of perspective control to correct verticals, adjust plane of focus and maximise depth-of-field.

Often favoured by urban or architectural photographers, tilt-shift lenses enable you to achieve a high level of image perspective control. They can however be something that are tricky to understand fully when you are starting out, so we thought we would give you a brief overview of what makes them so interesting.Read full article
