Join former marine biologist David Newton of Photopositive on the photographic trip of a lifetime, getting up-close and personal with a colossal array of marine life in the Sea of Cortez!
You will be on a small boat with the ability to get really close to the whales, David will be there to help you get the best possible images and answer any photographic questions you may have.
Michael Fishbach, the lead blue whale researcher in the Sea of Cortez will also be in attendance; you'll benefit from Michael's unrivalled knowledge of blue whales, their conservation issues and the pressures they face. You will also help Michael with his research as he shoots ID images of every blue whale you encounter. In fact, your attendance on the trip will help fund his research to help conserve blue whales.
The Sea of Cortez is incredibly fertile and has a massive collection of marine life, on an average trip you can expect to encounter, at least:
Blue whales
Humpback whales
Fin whales
Dolphins – common and bottlenosed
Manta Rays
Sealions
Brown pelicans
Beyond that, there are orca, sperm whales, beaked whales and whale sharks in the area, so the opportunities will be endless!
All of the stunning images shown here were taken by David on previous trips, as was the video below:
Spaces on this unforgettable trip are limited to just FIVE, so book now to avoid disappointment. You can find all the details on David’s website, HERE, and if you need to hire any equipment for the trip, you know where to come!
